  • Introduction

We offer customized solutions to evaluate the properties and performance of your materials. Using advanced equipment and technical expertise, we deliver precise and reliable results that help you make informed decisions in your design and manufacturing processes.

  • What Is a Mechanical Test?

A mechanical test is a scientific process designed to evaluate the mechanical properties of a material, such as its strength, ductility, toughness and other characteristics, in response to specific conditions. By applying controlled forces, stresses or strains to a sample, these tests enable us to measure and analyze how the material behaves under stress.

The results obtained are essential for a better understanding of the mechanical performance of materials, helping to guide design and manufacturing choices in various industrial sectors.

At Mequaltech, we use state-of-the-art equipment to carry out these mechanical tests with the utmost precision.

  • The Various Tests We Offer

We carry out two types of test: static and dynamic, depending on the specific needs of your materials.

    Static testing

Static tests assess the behavior of materials under constant loads. Here are just some of the static tests we offer:

    • Tension (at 20°C)
      • Dimensions: Small (d≤ 10mm), Medium (d≈10mm), Large (d≥ 15mm)
      • Temperatures: Low and high temperature tests (-150°C to 600°C) for round and threaded specimens only, with a maximum force of ≤ 100 kN.
      • Specimens: Flat, Round, or Threaded.
    • Compression (at 20°C)
      • Temperatures: Tests at low and high temperatures (-150°C to 600°C) with a maximum force of ≤ 100 kN.
      • Samples: All types of samples.
    • 3-point bending (at 20°C)
      • Dimensions : Small (L ≈ 30 mm), Medium (L≈ 150 mm), Large (L≈ 500 mm)

    Essais dynamiques

Dynamic tests examine the behaviour of materials under time-varying loads, as follows:

    • Uniaxial fatigue
      • Dimensions : Small (d≤ 10mm), Medium (d≈10mm), Large (d≥ 15mm)
      • Échantillons : Flat, Round.
    • Flexural fatigue (3-point bending)
      • Dimensions : Small (L ≈ 30 mm), Medium (L≈ 150 mm), Large (L≈ 500 mm)
