Consultant Mequaltech, a division of Stratégie Ressources Inc., is recognized by the RBQ to perform periodic inspections of pressure installations.
We are proud to hold RBQ recognition authorizing us to carry out periodic inspections in accordance with the regulation on pressure installations (B-1.1, r.6.1).
We offer 2 types of inspection, either a periodic inspection when your records are well structured, or a non-destructive testing inspection followed by a periodic inspection to assess your entire installation.
We send an inspector to your facility to evaluate the installation concerned. We carry out non-destructive testing inspections if necessary to validate the integrity of your equipment. Following these inspections, Consultant Mequaltech carries out periodic inspection and data validation. The aim is to validate the conformity of your installation.
We advise you throughout the process, and provide you with references so that you can build up a solid and adequate management of your equipment fleet.
According to regulations, equipment operators must have their pressure vessels inspected periodically. We provide inspection certificates that comply with all standards, with clearly defined inspection frequencies for each type of equipment.
In Quebec, operators of pressure vessels are required by law to have them inspected regularly (Mequaltech Consulting), except in the following cases:

This article does not apply to pressure vessels and boilers for which the frequency of periodic inspection is determined by an inspection program that is part of a quality control program approved by the Régie in accordance with article 18. The inspection program must provide for mechanisms to monitor pressure vessels or boilers, particularly with respect to controlling their corrosion rate.
