  • Introduction

With our experts and state-of-the-art equipment, we offer advanced testing solutions that ensure reliable defect detection, comprehensive mapping of critical areas, and precise measurements of wall loss. Discover how our advanced techniques can optimize your inspection process.

  • Multi-element Ultrasound Imaging (Phased Array)

Phased Array multi-element imaging enables rapid scanning from different angles, making inspection of welds, corroded areas and complex parts faster and more reliable. This technique offers high resolution without the need for multiple probes, improving efficiency.

  • Automated Ultrasonic Inspection

Thanks to the NAVIC 2™ robotic system and HydroFORM™ probe, automated inspection of thickness variations caused by corrosion is faster and safer. The robot, with a 20-meter cable, easily reaches hard-to-reach areas, often eliminating the need for scaffolding or other safety devices.

  • HydroFORM™: High-precision Mapping

Designed for corrosion mapping, the HydroFORM™ scanner uses a water column for optimal coupling on irregular surfaces. This enables reliable inspection, even on difficult areas, with excellent resolution at shallow depths.

  • FlexoFORM™: Flexible Inspection of Pipe Bends

TOFD (Time of Flight DiffractioThe FlexoFORM™ scanner, equipped with a flexible probe, provides complete coverage and high-resolution data on pipe bends of various diameters. Ideal for detecting flow-accelerated corrosion (FAC), this solution provides accurate measurements and intuitive C-scan imaging.

  • TOFD (Time of Flight Diffraction) Technique

The TOFD method is particularly effective for detecting and sizing flat defects such as cracks in welds. The technique offers fast, accurate inspection, ideal for identifying corrosion and internal defects.

  • Tubing Inspection: Specialized Methods

We offer advanced methods for tubing inspection:

    • IRIS (wall thickness measurement) to detect wall losses.
    • Eddy Current Testing (ECT): A method that utilizes the magnetic field generated by one or more coils to induce opposing eddy currents in the tube wall. Any impedance change indicates discontinuities or wall thickness loss. This inspection is used for non-ferromagnetic tubes, offering fast setup, high sensitivity for defect detection, and non-contact testing.
    • Remote Field Testing (RFT): An electromagnetic technique for detecting internal or external indications and wall loss due to corrosion, erosion, or natural wear. This method is primarily used for ferromagnetic tubes (carbon steel and ferritic stainless steel).
    • Near Field Testing (NFT): An electromagnetic technique for detecting internal wall loss, such as corrosion. This method is mainly used for finned carbon steel tubes.
