Capacity:

The machine is equipped with two load cells; a high capacity load cell of 250 kN and a small load cell of 25 kN for more accuracy when relatively low load is required. The relative error is lower than 0.4 % of the reading.

Tests at low and high temperatures (-150° to 600°C).

Static testing:

• Tension (20°C)
  • Dimensions: small (d ≤ 10 mm), medium (d ≈ 10 mm) and large (d ≥ 15 mm)
  • For tests at low and high temperatures (-150° to 600°C): only round and treaded samples, load ≤ 100 kN.
  • Samples: flat, round or treaded.

• Compression (20°C)
  • For tests at low and high temperatures (-150° to 600°C): load ≤ 100 kN.
  • All types of samples

• 3-Points Flexure 
  • Dimensions: small (L ≈ 30 mm), medium (d ≈ 150 mm) and large (L ≈ 500 mm)

Dynamic testing:

• Axial Fatigue
  • Dimensions: small (d ≤ 10 mm), medium (d ≈ 10 mm) and large (d ≥ 15 mm)
  • Samples: flat and round.

• 3-Points Flexure Fatigue 
  • Dimensions: small (L ≈ 30 mm), medium (d ≈ 150 mm) and large (L ≈ 500 mm)

Note: more custom tests could be performed with this equipment using the available set-up and fittings. Moreover, new set-up could be designed and machined for specific tests.
